Do you have a minimum order amount?
Low Cost Bullion’s minimum order is $500.00 (US).

Do you have a maximum order amount?
Low Cost Bullion does not have a maximum order across the board. Some payment avenues may have restrictions. Please call us at (844) 323-5787 to inquire about a specific method of payment if you have any concerns.

Should I purchase gold, silver, platinum or palladium? All four?

Once a confirmation number has been issued, all prices and orders are locked in for buyers and sellers. At Low Cost Bullion, we realize rare situations may arise wherein orders must be cancelled. Should you want to cancel or change your order, you must call our offices during normal business hours of 9:30 – 5:30 EST Monday through Friday.

Can I change my order after it has been confirmed?
Unfortunately, no changes can be made after an order has been placed. Our processing system is fully automated which makes it very difficult to modify an order after it has been confirmed. We suggest all customers make sure their purchases are correct before placing any orders.

Pricing

Are my prices locked in when I place my order?
Yes. When you place an order over the telephone or online, you will be given a confirmation number that locks in your purchase price.

How long is my price locked in for when buying from Low Cost Bullion?
Your price is locked in for up to 10 business days on orders depending on payment method. This is the time you have to make your payment to Low Cost Bullion once you have placed an order with us and have entered into a binding agreement. When ordering online, the price at which your order has been purchased is the locked-in price. Your confirmation number reflecting this purchase price will be on the final order screen and in your return email.

Do you offer discounts for larger quantity purchases?
Yes. At Low Cost Bullion, we have evaluated and approved the lowest prices for high volume orders. We may be able to extend additional discounts on a case by case basis or with large orders of individual items. Please call us at (844) 323-5787 with any specific requests.

Payments

What forms of payment does Low Cost Bullion accept?
Payment to Low Cost Bullion can be provided using one of the following: Wire Transfer, Credit Card, PayPal, Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, Money Order, or Personal Check.

Is there a holding period on cashier’s checks, certified checks and personal checks?
Yes. We hold all certified checks and cashier’s checks for 10 banking days, typically. Personal checks will be held for up to 10 business days regardless of when they clear prior to shipping. This holding period ensures that the payment clears before your order is shipped out.

How do I wire funds? Where should I wire funds to?
Paying by bank wire is the fastest and most secure method of payment. Low Cost Bullion’s minimal wire order is $2,500 (USD), and the maximum is $150,000 (USD). A credit/debit card is required. To be eligible for guaranteed pricing, the transfer must be received by us within one business day. Once your order has been placed online from our site, you will receive detailed instructions with all of Low Cost Bullion’s wire transfer information, including bank name and the ABA routing and account numbers.

What is Low Cost Bullion’s good funds policy?
Good funds are counted from the day we receive your direct bank wire, or from 1-10 business days after the day we receive your cashier’s check, money order or certified check. Allow 10 business days from when we receive your personal check. Additional delays may occur for checks depending on your bank’s aid in verifying your transaction. Because of this, Low Cost Bullion always recommends direct bank wire transfers.

How quickly will you need my payment to complete my order?
You must ensure that your payment is received by Low Cost Bullion within 1-10 business days depending on your payment method to guarantee your purchase price. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions to determine the time frame requirement for your order.
Low Cost Bullion reserves the right to cancel orders that do not meet this requirement. We recommend mailing your payment the same day your order is placed to ensure there are no issues with your order. Choose 2-3 day priority mail through the United States Postal Service to make sure we receive your payment on time.

Do you accept credit cards?
Yes. Low Cost Bullion accepts online credit card orders from $500 to $5,000 (USD). Please read more in our Terms & Conditions if you have any specific concerns.

Do you accept PayPal?
Yes, we accept PayPal with certain restrictions. Low Cost Bullion accepts PayPal starting at $500 to $30,000. Payments are only available for those orders shipped to a PayPal verified address.

What happens if my payment isn’t received within the applicable time period?
It’s always best to send us your payment immediately to ensure Low Cost Bullion can honor the confirmed price. If payment is not received within the amount of time allotted prepayment method, Low Cost Bullion reserves the right to either accept your payment, cancel your order, or provide an updated quote based on the market price at the time payment was received.

What happens if I fail to send a check or follow up on my order after it has been confirmed?
Your order may be cancelled if Low Cost Bullion does not receive your payment within the required time period. Failure to send payment may result in your account being suspended or closed. In addition, if the market price falls, you will be liable for any market loss incurred. You may be charged for the difference between any confirmed price and the market price if or when your order is officially cancelled. Any market fluctuation resulting in a gain on cancellations shall remain the property of Low Cost Bullion.

Shipment

When will my shipment arrive?
Low Cost Bullion generally ships your order within one business day, and up to thirty days from an issued order depending on the method of payment. Bank Wires are the fastest method of payment, and ensure your order is shipped out fastest as well, typically within 1 business day after funds have been received. Credit Card and PayPal Orders typically ship within 1 business day after confirmed payment. Money Orders, Bank and Cashier’s Checks, Personal Checks and Company Checks will usually ship between 5 and 10 business days from the day your check is deposited. These estimates exclude weekends and holidays.

Do you ship internationally?
We do not ship internationally at this time.

How is my order shipped?
Low Cost Bullion orders will be shipped via Certified, Registered and Insured U.S. Mail, UPS or FedEx. Delivery fulfillment times range from 1 day to a month, barring any additional delays. If you have any additional inquiries about shipping, please contact us.

Is my package insured while in transit?
Low Cost Bullion fully insures all of its shipments incase anything should happen while your order is in transit. Low Cost Bullion cannot assume responsibility for packages and orders that have seen change of instruction, carrier or additional delivery services.

Can Low Cost Bullion ship my order to a post office box?
We do not ship to a post office box at this time.

Reporting

What purchases are reported to the US Government?
Low Cost Bullion does not report the majority of precious metals purchases to the United States government. However, we must file Form 8300 for cash payments over $10,000. Cash in these instances can includes cashier’s checks and money orders, bank drafts, foreign currency, traveler’s checks, US currency, and other related transactions within 24 hours of one other.

What sales are reported to the US Government?
We do not report the majority of customer sales to the government. However, Low Cost Bullion must file a 1099B for certain sales, such as more than 1kg of gold bars, or the sale of specific 25 or more 1 oz gold coins.

When do I pay taxes if I sell Gold or Silver to Low Cost Bullion?
If you receive an IRS From 1099B from Low Cost Bullion, please contact a certified tax professional.
